We used the JR Yamanote line

Well I was going to blog my trip in Japan as it was going but on arrival and experiencing first night I knew that it would just not be possible xD 7 people… one laptop… so I shall blog about it now… well blog what I remember because a lot happened and some of the minor details may have been lost somewhere in between.
Day 1
Most of day 1 was spent en-route to Japan. Got up at 2:30 I think it was and started getting ready to to, finished last minute packing which was really the packing that I had begun only 3 hours prior lol. Moving on, I remember it being really warm still because I was sitting in mums room with the aircon on for a bit… before long the family was up and we were out of the house on the way to the airport… on the way I received well wishes from Chloe and Xin which was nice  as I was nervous about the trip it kinda eased my nerves a lot. Arrived at the airport at some time around 4 I think where we saw Seng, Will and Alec already there. A short farewell with my family commenced and soon I was with the other guys waiting for Alice, Jun and Aaron to arrive and so we could check-in. It was a fair while before they arrived and we moved on into the terminal to await our flight to the Gold Coast. It was about this time that Pineypoo rung lol… god knows why Elaine was awake at such an hour but she sounded tired :P lol chatted to her for a bit before I let her get to sleep or was it Elaine wanting to go to sleep.. something like that. Anyway, there was some time left and I decided to nap for a bit before the flight.

Before long we boarded and were off to QLD, during the trip I slept to make up for the missed sleep.

Arrived into a VERY humid Queensland, I just can’t bear that type of weather… the air feels almost like it’s solid and it’s hard to breathe >< Well it was a 3 hour wait here so after checking into the flight we went to get some food… and boy is the food at the Gold coast airport expensive _ _ I paid 9 dollars for an egg and cheese roll which had like no cheese and was mediocre to say the least. Passing through customs was a breeze and before we knew it there was another wait for the plane. 2 hours later we finally boarded and were on our way to Narita International Japan where the weather would be more to my liking – a frosty 8 degrees I think it was. Like the trip to Queensland I slept most of this one only waking up in the last 2 hours to buy some Nissin Noodles and talk with Alec and Will who were in front of me lol (I was sitting separate since I booked my seats late >___>)

Arrived in Japan at Narita international at approximately 8 something there time :D very approximate I know ;) we were then lead by Alice who knew what to do. Firstly we went to the train ticket office where Suica cards (a JR railway card) and Narita Express tickets were purchased. A short walk later we found ourselves at the train terminal where we admired the Japanese trains. Some of them even had two levels! :O they also went quite fast xD. The Narita Express (N’ex) arrived promptly on time and even arrived in the correctly marked positions on the ground (they have stickers on the ground saying where each carriage should stop) which was pretty cool. We then made our way onto the train and made ourselves comfortable. It was about now that I inspected the ticket to see that it had an arrival time on it which was strange… you don’t see anything like that normally. Anyway I put it to the challenge and kept track of the time during the 1 ½ hour trip to Shinjuku, the station where we would be transferring to another train and I’ll be damned... the train arrived PERFECTLY on time... actually it arrived about 30 seconds early but disembarking took about that long so wow O________O I was pretty amazed xD. Caught a connecting train to Shin-Okubo (I think that’s what it was called/spelt) and walked about 2 min’s down the street to where we were staying – “Tokyo Plaza hotel” Surprisingly the receptionists were Korean but spoke enough English to get by. Will, Seng, Alec and I were sharing a room for the first few nights so we headed up. Unpacked and then went down next door to find a ramen store xD lol. First meal in japan was pretty good :D, afterwards it was pretty much too late to really go do much and everyone was tired so we returned back to the hotel to test the internet xD (yes that is quite sad but oh well) and wow, Japanese internet just owns all... we almost fainted when we saw the speeds we were getting... it was something in the order of 2 – 3 MB a second :O Will was pretty much in heaven and began downloading, a ritual that would be continued every night of our trip in Japan that would finally result in over 200 gb downloaded in just a matter of 10 days.
Day 2
Awoke in this foreign land to see that it was raining outside. Made a quick trip to the convenience store to find some umbrellas and then we were off to Shibuya to explore for the day. Shibuya was amazingly busy even in the wet climate; there was literally a sea of umbrellas as people went shopping or about their daily lives. We went and did lots of shopping since Will, for some reason even though the exchange rate was retarded, wanted to do lots of shopping lol. Went around all over the place, mainly to clothes shops but we also went to some other interesting ones too... Like Loft which is like smiggle evolved into an ikea lol. Saw lots of cool looking stuff there like a weird as Rubiks cube with uneven sides ... since I had a lot of teh other cubes I decided just to continue the trend and buy one of these too xD ask for me to bring it when I see you if you wanna look at it... anyways, it was time for lunch now and since we spent most of the day walking around Will spotted one of his favourite restaurants in japan – Coco Ichibanya which is like a Japanese curry franchise xD It was nice, but very filling.... like VERY filling... It also made me not want any curry anymore for a long long long time lol... After the food we went browsing the shops a bit more and then headed back to the hotel to have a taste of Japanese TV.
Day 3
Our second full day in Japan or third since we were in the country was to be spent in Harajuku. Once more it was raining so that spoilt our hopes of seeing the Harajuku girls, the very tb ones that dress up in all this random stuff lol... not that our trip there was totally in vain since there were a few wondering around. I think the highlight today would have to be the 100 Yen shop... not everything in there was 100 yen (approx $1.90?) but the majority of it was... for a cheapo like me while I was in Japan it was so good... they had everything in there xD I wouldn’t be too sure about the quality of some of the items but the majority of it was pretty decent :O Spent hours in there I think... there were 4 levels... or was it 5... Pretty much afterward it followed the same pattern as the previous day.. shop for clothes... and more clothes... though we found a pretty good Ramen place for lunch =D Oh Seng, Will and Alec bought face masks that are to be used for ill people _ _ lol their glasses kept fogging up though so it failed epically when they were trying to walk around. For dinner that night we decided to have Sushi on a sushi train lol... I must say I didn’t enjoy it as much as I thought I would’ve, the sushi in Japan is considerably smaller (well it was in this place) and it didn’t taste as good... well I didn’t really find it to my liking xD... we made up for this meal on our way home by stopping at the Mc donalds which is literally a 2 min walk from the hotel... Late night snacks! :D since all Mc Donald’s are open for 24 hours over there.
Day 4
I’m not too sure what we got up to today, I remember Alice said she was meeting up with a friend so we were left to our own devices for the day. We went to Shinjuku today and that remains my favourite station lol, its one of the most busiest stations in Japan and I just loved the bustling crowds. It was walking today, a lot of walking. Up and down the streets we went, looking for clothes really. Went to some big electronic stores too which was pretty cool... I mean 7 or 8 levels of just electronics :D who can resist that? Anyway by mid afternoon Will was hungry and determined that there was a Coco Ichibanya in Shinjuku and lead us on a quest to find it. I think it was about 3 or was it 5 hours later that Will finally gave up? We walked basically half of Shinjuku and I must say no-one was happy at all lol... Will just kept leading us while we were complaining... thinking back on it now it was quite funny but at the time all we were thinking about was our sore feet and I was worried about the blisters that were starting to form >___> eventually went to an alright ramen place where I ordered what I thought ramen, I got a huge bowl of lettuce and bean sprouts in soup with a tiny bit of noodles at the bottom o.O i was like eh? D= all that walking for a tiny bit of ramen? Nah it actually wasn’t that bad, japan seems to have a shortage of fresh vegies and the like so I gladly ate the greens. Started off on another walk for a quick look for Coco Ichibanya again =.=” and then eventually went home. Not long after we got back to the hotel Alice arrived with Jun’s cake because it was his birthday the next day. When Jun finally arrived home (post meridian) we had a mini birthday ceremony and then dug into cake. Talked into the early hours and then went to bed resting our feet and readying ourselves for the trials of the dawning day.

Day 5
The first day where we didn’t dedicate it to just shopping. Today was our hot spring day lol. Woke up late because we had a late night before >__> I don’t think we slept till about 3 – 4 am lol, woke up at ¼ past 9 I think and the train left at 9:30... or was it the same times but at 8... anyway we were late and everyone was panicking running around like idiots lol. We got ready and made it to the station in 15 minutes but it was too late, our train had left minutes before =[ So we had a short wait to get breakfast and then paid a small fee to get onto the next train on our way to Hakune, the place where the hot springs were located. I remember this day being freezing and by the time we got to the top of this mountain thing it was cold enough we saw a bit of snow :O it wasn’t much but it was still some snow... looked so cool. Anyway, we paid for a package thing so it was up the mountain by cable thingy and then down it again to a lake where we boarded a ship tour thing that was meant to be for us sightseeing people who wanted to see mount Fuji, the boat ride commenced but our wishes of seeing the famous mountain failed as it was too cloudy =[ Arrived at port in about an hour and then took a bus ride to the onsens. Mmmm onsen.... lol they were so good, nice and hot... so very relaxing  anyway, spent 2 or 3 hours there and it was dark when we left. Arrived at the train station 2 hours early so we went to find some food... since it was a quiet tourist town everything was WAYY over priced... we eventually gave up looking for food and went to 7/11 where we had a budget dinner on instant noodles and melon bread in some cases lol... it was a simple meal but it was kinda fun too, we looked like bums as we sat on the side of the street eating our dinner lol. Arrived home feeling quite content. Washed my clothes (they smelt like sulphur and those who have smelt sulphur know how bad it smells) and then went up to Will’s room (that day the rooms were rearranged so I was staying with Alec in one with Seng and Will in the room above us... they had no window and it smelt like cigarettes) spent a bit of time there but eventually retired to our rooms early.
Day 6
Over half way! :O Well day six was another touristy kind of day. First of all it was being introduced to Alice’s friend, Haruka, she was a pretty nice girl and spoke pretty decent English which was very handy. After the small talk and introductions we went down to have a look at what was meant to be a pretty awesome Japanese garden. I kinda forgot to charge my batteries the night before so i was being a little more conservative on the number of shots I took... anyway when we arrived at the suburb I guess you’d call it, I can’t remember the name but I remember we went to look for breakfast and found this awesome bakery on one of the streets. I think I liked that place more than breadtop xD Everything tasted so good that I bought some extra stuff to snack on while we were in the gardens. Must I say the gardens were pretty cool, I know we missed the snow of winter, orange and gold wonders of autumn, and just a tad bit too early for the Sakura in spring but it was still quite pretty. There was this massive hill right in the middle of it that looked over the lake in the garden and everyone was impressed with the view because it was stunning... I can’t really remember what we did that night... oh wait I do now, we went to have this traditional Japanese meal thing where you order stuff on skewers lol, that was pretty cool and the food tasted awesome, for the very first time that trip I decided to spend that little bit extra and just dig in... that’s how good it was xD Everyone had sake of course... cept me since I don’t drink and Aaron because he was just way under aged lol It was a good meal and everyone was so full afterwards. We walked along the streets happy and full, eventually making our way back for the evening.
Day 7
Another touristy kinda day, the last I think for the trip. We went to Asuksa to visit this temple which was supposed to be a really big tourist attraction. I was astounded by the size of the lanterns at that place. They were huge! And not to mention the market that lined the street right up to the temple. Bustling crowds, school kids, adults, tourists mingling together looking for a good bargain, it was quite fun! I think I spent the most there too, it was the perfect place to get gifts and most of us guys bought a shirt which had kanji on it lol, I refer to it now because it relates to later that night. Anyway, we went to the temple and looked around... even did that fortune telling thing where you shake the joss sticks around until one comes out and then you read your fortune... It was kinda fob-ish but I got “regular fortune” which meant that my life was going to be okay... We were all curious about what would happen if we did it again so most of us did it a second time >__> This time I got “very bad fortune” which is a price to pay for doubting my first one i guess xD lol... better than Alice who got bad fortune twice in a row though =[ Anyways, following local customs we went up to the temple and made a coin donation before making a prayer. I took this opportunity to get a couple of photo’s because the temple had really nice surroundings. Most of my best photo’s were from that day I think. After we were done at the temple we just wandered around the markets around the place. I mean the whole area we went to seemed to be one big market... lots of shady shops too though lol. One cool shop we found had about 8 levels full of the anime stuff... like gundam, models, and puzzles... it was so cool and we scoured up and down to our hearts content. Not long after we separated so that Jun and Alice went off and did their thing while the other 5 of us just wandered Ueno. This night was also the night that Aaron broke his glasses I think... i’m starting to mix up events of day 7, 8, 9 and 10 xD... it was quite funny because he was going on about how flexible it was... anyways, that night when we get home Will comes into our room saying he got gg’ed, since he normally buys shirts extra large in japan he bought the touristy kinda shirt as extra large as well xD he came into the room and it looked so big it was hilarious. Seng’s was a bit big too so the two bro’s spent the night trying to shrink it by throwing it into a bathtub of hot water >__> and then blowdrying it on super hot.... lol quite amusing to watch.
Day 8
I don’t even remember if this was day 8 or not lol >___> It was Akihabara. Nothing much to blog about it because it was only shopping, we mainly were in the big electronic department stores or the mini stores dotted on the streets dedicated to anime items and collectables. I just know that I love Akihabara <3 so much anime stuff... and it wasn’t too badly priced too...
Anyways I think I might end my Japan blog with this... The last 3 days weren’t ,much different from day one or two. We mostly went shopping and looking for last minutes gifts and stuff. Oh we did spend a day at Ginza which is like the rich Hollywood side of Tokyo and that was cool... the remainder of the time was spent revisiting places like Shinjuku... Harajuku, Shibuya again to revisit stores we had been to. Fast forward to the last day. We woke up early so Alec and I got ready and chilled in our room because we had spent the night before packing, just put a few last minute things together and we were in the lobby waiting for the others. Eventually they came down and we left our stuff in the lobby to go a few places before our train left at 3. We shopped, managed to see the Harajuku girls and then arrived back at the hotel and made our way to the train station where we would once more be boarding the Narita Express to the airport and finally back home. The flight to Australia was delayed but I won’t bore you with the details of what we tried to occupy ourselves with at the airport... besides finding giant pocky and random flavours lol.

The trip was good... I had fun and I loved being in Japan, but it made me realise that I missed a lot about Australia... the wide open spaces, the green... the grass (even though it’s kinda dead right now) and specially you guys. Coming back and knowing that you guys were gonna be here when we got back. Anyway I shall post this now and then start on my post Japan blog entry.

Half way there... I should have a post up soon

Sorry people haven't posted yet but i will within the next week... I promise... oh wait i cant do that... orientation... I WILL POST SOMETHING THOUGH! just keep hanging on there xD not giving up on blogging just yet.... day 1 of japan is already planned so the rest will follow

Today started off REALLY late. Was so sleepy last night I went to bed not as late as usual, was so tired everything looked all blurry. Got up early as much as I didn't want to which was a pain =/ seem to have a thing where I can't really sleep in. Well early today was about 9:30 but then just lay in bed until about 10 when dad came in and told me we were going to start work at 11 since we needed to swap a Tv over >___> that had me out of bed in a flash.

Rushed around like an idiot cos I had thing's that I wanted/needed to do before work so did all that then had breakfast; was out of the house by about 10:45. Arrived at the warehouse got the TV and then swapped it over with the TV that was given out wrongly, all this was done within the hour and we found ourselves at work 15 minutes earlier than usual. I made my coffee and then sat back and waited for the customers to roll in. At about 12:30 had to get a TV that was returned to us and throw it out since the screen was totally smashed. Being the person I am I decided to see if I could scavenge anything from this nice 50" plasma. Opened it to find that there was like nothing to scavenge but it still looked pretty cool inside lol... Anyways that was the excitement for today all over. Funny thing about work today is how many times people kept asking about my job =/ They all seemed to be wanting to take it >___> the first guy was asking stuff like pay and hours... the second was asking about penalty rates and applying... then at about 4:00 I had this Indian guy come off the street (not picking anything up) and ask me if there was a position for him to work... Coincidence? or something more? :O

Anyways, work ended late again today as we had a customer buy a portable cooler at the last minute >___> always annoying those last minute customers who want their goods so badly they ring and tell us to wait... anyway, 20 minutes after my shift ended we headed on home. Got home had a shower and then dinner which consisted of boiled eggs with soy sauce, rice, bitter melon fried with egg and then some noodles in soup with bok choy. Simple dinner but nice since I was looking for something healthy and not too greasy =D

Messed around on the piano for a bit after that trying to see if I could play moonlight sonata again... I couldn't of course, can't even play past the 8th bar? Anyway, while playing piano was talking to Mum and Andy which was nice. Joked around for a bit then cleaned up. After the cleaning I went onto the comp to check my mail and begin my nightly ritual of just catching up with people whilst gaming. Replied to Elaine's comment on my blog while playing maze, well it was more replying than playing since I suck at mazing lol and then chatted to a few people. Currently I'm talking to Vivian (who just I just told that I would be posting very soon), James who has just reached Japan in Little Big Planet and can't reach a "Moshi Moshi" sticker lol.

Well that's it for now as I modify it a little so it isn't one big blob of writing x]

~EDIT -- if there are parts that don't make sense it's because I haven't bothered to proof read today and I'm typing then going afk to help around the house at random intervals. I'm also sleepy right now so the post may be entirely incoherent at parts xDDD sorry

Quite surprised that it's almost been 2 weeks since my last entry, felt like yesterday I was just typing something up. Let me try to think of what I've been up to for the past fortnight.
The following day, after James’ very random comment was a group outing. Somewhat of a tradition now since everyone seems to be free on Tuesday and the movies are cheaper xDDD. It was arranged that we would meet at the cinemas at about 11 but I was running late since I had to do some stuff at home =/ by the time I got off the bus it was about 10 past 11 so I rushed through Knox to try and meet up with the others. On my way down the escalator I hear someone calling my name, look up and it’s Edd and Lisa. So since they were obviously waiting for me I got down and then made a U-turn up the escalator where I joined the duo to buy some stuff before the congregation of the willing began :O. Headed to the movies after that to find that more people had turned up, without replying to my email saying they were renewing the contract! >=O I certainly didn’t expect it but it was a pleasant surprise to see so many friendly faces. Here is a list of the people who decided to renew their friendship contracts with me!

The others, I’m sorry to say that you are no longer my friends, jks xD Nah some others couldn’t make it so maybe next time  you will be my friends even if you decide not to reply to my emails xD. Anyways after much deliberation we decided to see “The mysterious case of Benjamin Button“which was at 2:00. Paid for our tickets (somehow I paid for an extra one, we didn’t realise it until end of the day… IT WASN’T ME! :O *COUGH* it made sense at the time okay? =[) but it was only just reaching 12 so we decided to have lunch first. By now Xin had arrived (she had an appointment) and we joined James and Sarah who were at Grill’d(?) waiting for James’ burger. Caught up while we waited and eventually we were off to the food court to meet up with all the others. I can’t remember around this time except that Sarah, Xin and I were walking around the food court telling the other person that they should eat lol… Eventually Sarah settled for a muffin and Xin and I had sushi. The other guys then disappeared off to Myer, god knows why cos they didn’t seem to want to buy anything anyway so Xin, James, Sarah and I made our way back to the cinemas but then decided to stop at Dymocks and look at random books. It was about now that I got a call from Alana who was looking for us, I walked out to find that she was on the second level waving down at me. The other three finished looking for random books and we headed up to meet with Chathuri, Lisa, Lizzy and Lana who had lunch in their own little group. Now with another 4 people to join us we made our way to the cinemas yet again but stopped around the art shop thingy where I don’t know why but we went in lol. Stood around there and talked for a bit until we decided that we all wanted bubble tea and headed off to O-zone to get it there just before the movie. Xin picked my tea for me, it was mango which was really nice :3, after everyone had been served we headed to the cinemas. It was here that we met up with the others again (eventually) and noticed that there was one too many tickets. With all of us pondering on who was missing we walked into the cinema mentally ticking off names but there was no realisation that I had accidentally given too much money and bought another ticket >__>. The movie was good, if not a bit too long =/ we didn’t get out till 5 and the movie started at 2 (mentioned earlier). Liz rushed off to work while some of the guys got a lift with Seng and his bro. The group dispersed and before we knew it, it was just Xin and I walking together to the bus stop. Had a nice talk and on arrival at the stop some of the group suddenly appeared again lol the bus appeared just minutes later and we were off on our way. Reaching the lakes Xin and I got off just to have some time alone, just sat near the lake and chilled with her which was really nice. The sun setting and Xin in my arms after a great day with friends was just perfect. At about 6:30 we decided to head off home.
Arriving home I found my family from Sydney, Grandma, my cousins with their parents (aunt and uncle of course lol) and the newlyweds over for some dinner. Played around with the little kiddies for the rest of the night and then cleaned up a bit after everyone left. Went on msn and talked to Xin and James for a bit (as is my nightly ritual) before I went to bed early (well early as in late… which was so late that it was early, if you catch my drift >__>)

The next day (Wednesay 7.1.09)work since one of the full time guys was to have a day off after filling in for my dad and bro missing their Saturday shift to go to the Wedding. My, my it was a very busy day - I can't remember it in all its entirety but it was along the lines of lots of TV’s, a lot of TV’s. Decided to go to aunt’s that night since the family from Sydney had just left and asked us to give some stuff to them. Night out watching TV and eating KFC.

Thursday 8.1.09
What did I do on Thursday? O_________________________________O *mental blank* if it comes back to me I’ll blog it lol I remember just going to drop off my suit at the dry cleaners… then some washing a car… then…. *haze*

Friday 9.1.09
Well I got up late and did something, not sure what it was but I remember then going to work and it not being very busy. *fast forward*

Saturday 10.1.09
Fairly relaxed day, bummed around and did nothing because I was just pooped after the last month or so. Well it was relaxing until we went to Aunt’s place in Thomastown for dinner… didn’t get home till 3 so that just killed my days rest lol. I also got my Aunt into facebook! XD now the other half of the family are getting into it =] Fb revolution

Sunday 11.1.09
Bleh got up with 10 min to get ready for work *rush rush* was out the door by about 11:50 but still arrived to work late. There were already 5 cars waiting for pickups _ _” Fairly busy day I must say, was working non-stop till closing. Got home and just mellowed for the rest of the evening since I would be working pretty much all week.

Monday 12.1.09
The life of a full time worker started today. Well I wasn’t really full time, just filling in for a guy who had to take work off to fill in for another guy lol. I was assigned to train the new guy to replace the guy filling in for the other guy because the other guy was resigning. MWAHAHA confused yet? Well basically was just brining in stock nearly all day, a truck would arrive and we would unload then look for some space to put things away. So many fridges…

Tuesday 13.1.09
Alan’s outing/party thingy today. Was pretty good =DD got up and did the usual things that one does getting up… for all the time remaining before the outing I was just messing around with the playstation. Finally got it streaming stuff from the computer flawlessly =D no more burning needed unless it’s unsupported format =[. Anyways, left the house at about 12:30, or actually a bit after that to pick up a surprise guest! Arrived at Elaine’s house and didn’t even need to ring the bell and she opened the door! :O Psychic much. Anyway, dad was giving us a lift so we just sat in the car talking about Elaine’s trip and catching up =] it was nice. Arrived at Glenny to step out into an oven =[ Jamie messaged to say that we were meeting at the food court so the four of us (Elaine, Karen, Cynthia and I) made our way there while thinking of a way to hide Elaine so she could surprise everyone. As all plans are, we were unexpectedly intercepted from behind >=O very unfair much? The surprise thing failed miserably. If it wasn’t for Xin I would be depressed xD and boy did Xin look good………. ….. ANYWAY lol, we had lunch as a group as per usual after Xin and I walked down to Coles to get some credit. Talked and caught up with one another for a bit until we headed off to see a movie. After some discussion we decided to watch “Yes man” and Xin took me off to a Gelato store with James and we got some gelati.. yummmmmm =D hehe <3 Xin shouted me one and I’m craving it now just thinking of it… Back to the movie, it was quite good =D I found it funny and most of the group enjoyed it which was good =] Everyone was feeling a bit hungry now so we headed back to the food court to see what food we could scavenge before we all headed off to Alan’s place for the evening. A lot of us didn’t eat and just took this chance to talk again. Before long, the shops were closed and we headed off to the bus stop in the searing heat. The bus was there when we go there but Jamie and my sisters wanted Bubble tea so they went to get it with Elaine tagging along :P, Xin and I decided to follow to get out of the heat and we were then called to say that the bus would be leaving soon ~ rush, rush, rush~ ended up catching the bus on time which was cool because practically half the bus was full of people we knew lol. Eventually got back to Stud Park where the group dispersed to do odd bits before going to Alan’s place.

Mainly just sat around and talked which was cool the whole talking in person is so much better than talking on msn. Played a game of pool with Alec, James and Martin and Xin which took forever but it was fun, somehow when we eventually did finish the game we started having competitions to see who could keep the balls spinning the longest xD not random at all… Out came the ice cream after that and we went out to the backyard to play with the dog whilst enjoying the nice cold creamy ice cream; yum. A little after that the guys started drinking up stairs =/ Seng got drunk and then I got a call from mum wanting me home. I was very fortunate to have an escort to follow my sisters and I home, well part of the way home anyway. Xin, Jamie and Elaine walked pretty much half way with us. It was a nice night for a walk, a lot cooler than it had been earlier that day and the mood was good. Got home and went on msn for a bit where I took my move in the scrabble game between James, Xin and I. Eventually I was sound asleep ready for another hard day’s work.

Wednesday 14.1.09 – Friday 16.1.09
The days in one quick entry, there wasn’t much to them except fridges, bbqs, vacuums, ovens, washers and every other white or brown good you could ever think of. After work my life would follow the same routine of just do nothing lol just too tired to find motivation to find something exciting or different to do. Only different thing was on Thursday I ended up catching the bus home since Dad and Andy had the shift at work after I finished and the other guy was riding his Harley so no lifts available. Didn’t feel like going home just yet and It was a nice day so I got off at the lakes and went for a walk around them, the weather was still good by the time I did a round so I walked off to Stud lol. Was lost in memories as I was just reminiscing moments and events that occurred at Stud I found myself walking a familiar path back up to school. Since I arrived at the school I decided I might just walk home along one of the familiar routes home that I had taken for the past 6 years. It was really nice, a slight breeze, the sun still warm. Just when I was coming up to Elaine’s court she called me, quite freaky but nice at the same time. She wasn’t home and had to walk home so we just ended up talking to each other on the phone all the way until I got back to my place lol. On arrival home my night pretty much followed its usual course.

Saturday 17.01.09 (today)
Today started off late. Got up at about 10 feeling refreshed after the first decent sleep that I’ve had in a while. Did some random stuff and then booted up the PS3 to play Little Big Planet with James and Karen lol. That was fun except there was just a lot of lag. Had lunch and then let my sisters play the PS3 because I wasn’t in the mood to play in the lag. Ended up coming onto the comp and dotaed for a couple of hours. Elaine came on and then we played a few noob games lol =[ I really did end up noobing it so we lost both of them. Right now it’s 5.00 PM and I’m feeling good about finally blogging in so long. Currently chatting to Elaine and watching random bits of this drama over my sisters shoulder who is on the comp beside me. I have no idea what it is though… Tonight will be another average night in the life of a very average kid by the name of Tran Quoc Giang. That is with the exception of my driving lesson at 6:30 which should be fun… I think. Parents want me to get some professional instruction and I need someone to teach me manual since I don’t want to crash my car just yet…

Okay kiddies, never do what I did - stay up till 2 am and then get up at 5:30. It is the worst possible feeling that you can start off with... hungry, cold and sleepy >___>. Had a shower and suited up so that's all good. Right now I'm sitting in my study typing this entry as I'm watching the sun starting to rise from outside and there are some birds that are finally getting up... sif early bird gets the worm :P I haven't gotten anything =[.

Well it seems so long ago already… what did I get to after the early post on the wedding day xD
Morning/Afternoon
By the time I finished posting on livejournal basically everyone had finished up so we got in for the ride to my grandma’s place which is in Richmond. I just slept on the way there so didn’t catch much of what was going on but when we did arrive we were assigned a gift thingy to take over to the brides place. Andy and I got the roast pig =/ It kept rolling over which was annoying and amusing for the kids at the same time lol. After all the people who were to carry gifts had arrived we took off on this bridal procession to the brides residence to “bring the bride home” which I is the literal translation for this ceremony thingy. Like on the way down, I slept the whole way to endeavour hills. When we arrived there was a hiccup because the neighbour was raging since there was a car in his driveway that belonged to one of the people who had turned up for the party at the brides place. Took about 15 minutes to move the car till he was satisfied =/ That aside we marched to my new aunt’s house and passed the gifts onto the gift bearers of my new extended family. From then on it was eating and talking while the tea ceremony was being conducted among the older and more important people present (mostly with my own rele’s since we still didn’t really know anyone there). At around 11 we took half of the gifts that we had brought to the brides place. No idea why but it’s just tradition lol.

Slept on the way back to my grandma’s place.
On arrival there was more food to eat and another tea ceremony with the relatives on my side of the family. That took forever since there were more of us present but I occupied myself by playing with Emily and Steph ^^. At around 2:30 – 3 the family started dispersing off to home in order to change and refresh themselves for the reception. Like all the other trips so far I slept on the way home lol – feeling so tired after Christmas and New year. Got home, chatted and then played a game of dota (ROFL no I’m not addicted and Seng made me!! :O ) we won of course, as always with Seng – so I got changed and ready for the dinner that was to follow.
Night

We were the first family to arrive, even before the bride and groom :O but just as we were crossing the road they arrive so it was all good. The dinner was at “Candelles” which was somewhere in the city… All I remember is that it wasn’t too far from Melb Uni and Elaine’s bro’s apartment lol. Dinner was good, my cousins kept trying to get me to drink though, =X they also tried to get me to go sing karaoke but failed ^^’. Overall it was a great night, I brought home the menu to post but I’ve lost it somewhere which is a bummer because I enjoyed the food, except for the weird fish thingy which was just flake with sweet and sour sauce… that was just plain weird.

Ended up driving home with everyone asleep in the back so only myself for company… I can’t remember what happened afterwards but I think it was msn then slept lol…

Well, I haven't really had time to do my memoir of 2008 because today has been quite busy... and that stuff takes time... sho I shall blog about the second day of this year in which we call 2009.

Today started off fairly normal, Got up at 8:30 to clean up my mess so mum could start on some cleaning too :P lol another day lacking sleep but oh well, almost immune to it now so its fine. Nothing fixes sleep deprivation like a nice coffee; or coffees - joking of course didn't have any caffeine today except for some chocolate at work.

Well I finished cleaning and started on my blog of 2008 when I was distracted by downloading music and getting my player working properly. This then somehow led to me play dota, probably because I talked to Seng... and Seng = DoTA hehe. Lost in DoTA if you would like to know...

Not too soon after I lost DoTA my Aunt and one of my Uncles with his kiddies came over. They are in Melbourne for my Uncles wedding which I will be attending tomorrow. I let Andy on my comp so he could entertain himself on warcraft 3 while I played with the two girls. It was quite good to see the kiddies again since I missed them from last time we saw them at the start of last year... Stephanie and Emily took turns in chasing me around and they both ganged up on me to take me to the ground lol.... then they started throwing these sheep thingies at me, we all had quite a bit of fun. I was called out to wipe down the car at this point. My car is officially finished... well 99% anyway, just a few mechanical things to sort out and then getting it checked for roadworthy and then registered :D pics will come up soon.

At about 2 we had lunch, spring rolls and rice noodles and then head off to work at about 3.

Work was hectic, which is quite stupid since its a week after Boxing day. Spent 6 hours running around serving customers and here I am... chilling for a bit playing Castle Fight with the Asians on BA. That's all from me today. Ciao~

Well, I've been meaning to do this for a long time (James would know, he and I have talked about it) but with year 12 and all time just slipped away from me... so thanks to James for taking the initiative I shall commence with blogging and follow in his lead (I'm not a leader, just a mere sheeple).

Since it's currently 1:28 am on the second day of 2009 and I'm on the PDA this post is just a quick one to announce t is blog as online again.. tomorrow - or should I say today, I will take the time before work to blog 2008 in a nutshell as well as the first 2 days of this new year.
Hopefully this blog will rekindle the special community that we had two years ago and allow us to keep in touch for the years to come. I share and owe my life to every one of you and hope that by blogging we can all share moments in out lives that we hold dear with each other and thus remain close no matter where the future takes us.

Well today was a good day =) enjoyed it a lot...

Got up this morning like usual and downloaded Bleach, as 113 was almost finished I looked back to find that I didn't download 108 *shock horror gasp* how did I forget to download ANIME =O totaly out of character lol.

Well while downloading them I was organising all the manga into PDF's since they were all image files thus a pain to read so making Pdf's would be easier ^^. well did that until I had to go to school.

Got to school and talked to Chloe, James and Anhie =)... then everyone scattered to go to class but since I had my stuff and so did Chloe we just stood for a bit more and talked hehe... i walked Chloe to her class and then proceeded to head to Biology...ARRIVED EARLY, that's right Chloe I still made it early =P stood outside and talked to Chad for abit before Ms Shane arrived... she gave us notes on how to improve studying and stuff, went over them and then went to assembly.

Assembly was the usual one at the start of every year where high achievers are acknowleged, there were quite a few this year... Xin was up there too! =D hehe she got a pretty high score tooo.

Well after assembly just was talking in the VCE centre as per usual lol ^^

Physics was next and Mr Jansen wasnt here so we did the excercise he set us last lesson and I got bored of work after I got to the review so Kai Lyn recommened that I should have a break... and have a break I did. It was good to talk to Kai Lyn for a bit =) and then we went up to the back and caught up with Chad some more... lol hehehe it was crazy as usual =) enjoyed Physics a lot.

Well lunch consisted of me eating a nachi and then going in to help people lol... Was helping James with physics and then talking to the guys as well as Lainey and Chloe hehehe... Also talked to Melissa who assaulted me and wanted me to have some marshmellows lol.... *shakes head* was also interrogated too...
well it came time for class and was going to walk Chloe to her class again but she wouldn't let me so I got Anhie to make sure Chloe made it to class safe and sound since they were both going in the same direction and I headed off to Gen B...

Gen b today consisted of work and lots of fun =P... talked to Melissa some more who is really nice hehhe and then just did some review questions... up to 15 and then spent the lesson helping others with their work and talking hehehe...

After class I was carrying Kai Lyn's bag home since it was quite heavy.. .wasn't listening to her protestations but she got the school captain to physically attack me =P lol Angelique understood my plight however lol.... well ended up losing the bag to Kai Lyn so I headed back up to Chloe's locker to walk her down to her bus. Met Chloe and Alec up there and waited for them to get their stuff before heading down. Well just caught up with them and then when we got to the bus we split in our seperate directions. I was walking home when I bumped into Kech, Elaine and Lisa lol... talked to them and headed in their general direction too... well then Lisa had to go her way so I walked a bit of the way with Kech and Elaine before we reached Kech's house and then a bit more before we reached Elaine's court lol... well walked home from there and have been blogging since I got home -.-

Also chatt(ing)/(ed) to Leisa, Kech, Chloe, Seng, Alec and about to initiate conversation with rach lol... well have a great weekend guys and gals... see you on Monday =)

Hehhe was just talking in the VCE centre with Chloe today and then heard someone like Chad say hi, turned around and surprise surprise it was Chad =D in a red jumper too lol... but in a skirt lol... *tut tut* not school uniform now =P.

Well talked to Chad for a bit and then she went to talk to Kai Lyn so I just talked some more to Chloe, James and Anhiebella =D. Elaine turned up and she was in a JUMPER =D lol... eheh she lookeddddddd nice with it on even though she complained it was a bit too big =P

Well first lesson for the day was Chem... took notes... or was today the prac... ARH bad memory -.-" well I did something in Chem... OTHER than talking lol =P

After was recess... talked to Chloe as per usual =) one of my highlights to the day is you Chloe hehe =)

After was two different math... Gen B was first and Ms Iley had lost her voice so everyone was being obedient and working... She gave us a list of excercises so we can go ahead =D.

Methods was next and it was just heads down working for the whole lesson.

Lunch was more talking to Chloe about the day and stuff =P... Talked to Tina too... and Xing cracked a joke =D lol weeeee =D a joke!!! =D

Umm last was English with Xing =D. Well Xing and I for the first time, did NO WORK in english lol =D... we just talked about our lives and stuff.... it was really nice just to talk to Xing and get to know her better ^^

Well afterschool I walked Chloe down to the bus stop... stole and returned Anhie's but ticket and walked home... got home to do more homework lol -.- did biol most of the night.

Well time to break the blog drought and finally blog for three days =)

Well today is Wednesday, got up as usual but had to wait for my bro for a bit since he had to get ready to go to band =P.

Umm did some random stuff for dunno how long but eventually finished all that and left for school... I think I was reading manga lol... no I wasnt... actually I was doing Gen B.

Got to school to talk to people... can't remember who but it will most likely be Chloe and Kai Lyn since I always talk to them in the morning =) I remember walking Chloe to her class again and she wasn't happy about that lol.

Well first up was Physics, just went over stuff on waves, I was sitting with Jamie today =P just talked about stuff and then watched the presentation... eventually got started on a few questions before class ended.

Next was english lol... wasn't sure where I was since my diary said room 35 but there wasn't anyone heading in that direction, Ryan and I headed there and we were assured when we saw Xing lol. English was just working through sheet two and with Xing and I comparing our ways of completing tasks.

Recess was in the VCE centre talking to Chloe.

Period three and four was Chem. Did a prac, testing chlorides in flames to see what colour they produced.. there was this cool blue one lol. Well did that and then did questions.

Assembly -.- took all of lunch and it was pretty much the usual... except we were introduced to the college captains and year 11 leaders =) heheh... well after that I stood around outside the VCE centre for a bit and stuff... headed down to Stud with Elaine, Edd, Chloe and Kirsty since the rest of the guys had gone down earlier as some of them wanted to go to Knox.

Well ended up going down to Stud and standing around or loitering as Kai Lyn would put it lol... we just talked and stuff, Ally came over to say hi =) and then Chloe and Kirst decided to go to the library to study. The me, Elaine, the other guys went around to Kmart to pick up some stuff and then we stood around a bit more until eventually deciding to go down to Maccas for lunch. At Maccas the line was too long so we stood for a bit and I talked to Nikki who was also down there... eventually decided to go to KFC for lunch... they only had one person serving so we were there for ages getting served and eventually ate and stuff, was about 3:00 now so we headed back to school. hehe I had gained possession of Elaines bag to carry back to school -.-" it was heavy lol...

Well got back to school and the guys split. Soon it was just Elaine, Edd and I. We just stood around talking for a bit and Ruthiee came over so talked to her, Sarah also came by too... eventually Edd left and so did Ruth. So I walked with Elaine over to the music room since Elaine had band and from there I walked home.

Well got home and I have no idea what I did... probably what I have been doing for the past week and studied... remember finishing late since 24 was finished when I decided to call it a night.

Well today was so cool this morning it was cold lol.

Got ready for school and went to school (bro had period 0).

Well got to school and went to the VCE centre to study... did a bit of study... everyone turned up and I talked and studied lol.

Talked to Chloe and Elaine until had to go to class =/ first up was methods... spent the lesson trying to keep up with Kai Lyn.

Next was... ummm physics and we were just going over some models... hehe it was a nice lesson.

Recess was studying again...

Gen B after... ooo that was trying to keep up with Kai Lyn again lol... gosh she is one smart person...

Lunch was studying in the library and thank you so much to Chloe my defender =) she was trying to keep everyone away from me as we studied in the library since she wanted me to get my work done =) Thank you so much Chloe I appreciated it so very very much. Xing was there adding helpful comments as well =)

Chem was good =) taking summary notes on chapter one off the board and discussing with Ankur about his new language lol... =)

Biol was good too... I actually got some work done today, so proud of myself lol... was giving everyone the semi silent treatment trying to keep out of conversation and I got stuff done =) beat Kai Lyn at this mini battle we had lol...

Walked home for the first time this year with Lorraine and Xin... it was good and felt like old times again.

Got home... studied... studied... studied... also replied to emails in between breaks... chatted briefly to a few people... and yeah... got most of my work done now... semi... not my own work though XD

Chloe also sent me a beautiful email... Thank you so much Chloe.. just want to tell everyone (not that everyone doesnt know already) that Chloe is such a wonderful and beautiful person and I am blessed that she is my friend.

It seems that I am mentioning Chloe a lot lately and its because I am just going through some stressful periods and she has really been there to help me so I just wanna blog about it so that everyone knows how great she is =)

Thank you Chloe... and everyone else... you guys are my life =)

Went to school... had a great day =P... lunch was grr at rach and hannah lol

Walked Chloe to her pickup point... walked part of the way hoem with Elaine... got home... fullon studied until 8:30 when I was panicking.. talked to Chloe who was an angel and just talked me through it... thanks to her I'm on top of things again.. don't know what I would do without you Cwoe :) just love ya to bits... well Chloe planned my night for me and gave me guidelines to follow.,.. and follow them I did... helped me heaps =)

Went to bed late-ish lol

Stressful day for me =P mostly my fault too lol... almost forgot to blog =S

Well got up at 9:30 and felt really sleepy still but I knew I had to get up to finish homework, well got up and started doing physics... =/ was working outside but my sister was playing piano and stuff and it was really distracting so went into my room, could still hear piano but it was a little less loud? lol well did most of it, stuck on question 10 and need help *sigh* lol... I gave up there since I couldn't do any more and went on computer to do Methods... did that for a bit. On my break I saw Chloe and I was just talking =) hehe went off to do random stuff for a bit and went back to do math again... this was after lunch of boiled dumplings =) well did that and finished it pretty quickly. Biol came =( *sigh* my day was downhill from there... I mean I was working as hard as I could but in 2 hours I only did 6 - 7 pages =( got really frustrated and agro when Chloe sent me an email which made me smile =) then Chloe blogged too hehehe that definitely made me smile... did my work in a lighter mood for a bit then Chloe herself came on =D talked to her and she was so kind and just uplifting ^^ helped me get motivated and positive again... eventually Elaine, Alec and James came on and I talked to them =) at 8 I think, I finished my Biology =D yay!!!!

Well I would just wanna thank you Chloe for just being there and being so supportive... really appreciate it Chloe =)

Well relaxed after that, I was going to do Gen B but I have to burn stuff for my dad so I can't use the drive lol. Played yahtzee cos Leisa needed players and I played GB with Alec hehe... well about to play a game of rummy then its off to reading and then bed...

Well my yesterday started quite late (for me) I don't know why but I didn't get out of bed until 9:30 (wow) hehehe got up to find that my flu/cold/watever it was has subsided so I was happy about that... Got up to find that Dad had gone to work and that Mum and Sis had taken that opportunity to get a lift to Stud =P.

Well got up did the usual morning stuff, and was torn between following my regime and taking a day off or studying, in the end I don't know what happened lol =P I came online to play a bit with Alec until he had to go to tutoring and then I started work... so I semi rested and worked? =P Well I managed to finish my English =D and then decided to have another break =P, came online and talked to James while I was burning Grave of the Fireflies... Tried to rip it to DivX format but I don't know how to get past some stuff so need some shifty advice from Alec or someone... Well finished burning and then was so bored I decided to do my methods lol... did most of methods when Elaine and Leisa came online, Seng was on too so I just stopped homework and semi did it as I was talking to them... Had dinner and then came back to do a little more methods when I was called out by my dad to service the tarago.

Servicing the tarago was ok... I mean not like I serviced a car ever day... So my dad was directing me and then when I had to change the oil and oil filter the oil went everywhere -.-" some of it got on my clothes and it won't come out grr lol...

Well came back in finished a few mor questions then talked to Lainey, Leisa, another yahoo friend, Alec, Seng, James and Anh for the night =P then got booted off the comp since it was "late" - 10:30 if you're wondering - and then went to watch 24 ROFL hahahaha =P (mum was watching too ^^ its all good...) well watched 24 till 12:30 and still have another 2 hours to go =P went to bed and yah =p my yesterday
